Kolkata - Darjeeling - Pemayangtse - Gangtok - Kalimpong
Day 1 : ARRIVE KOLKATA
Arrival Delhi – meet and transfer to hotel.
Overnight : Hotel in Kolkata
Day 2 : KOLKATA
After breakfast city tour of Kolkata visiting the Victoria Memorial, India Museum, and Jain Temple with multi coloured chandeliers and Marble Palace, a oneman collection of Art treasures.

Day 3 : KOLKATA – BAGDOGRA – DARJEELING
Transfer to airport
Depart by flight (Jet Airways) to Bagdogra
Arrive Bagdogra – meet & transfer to Darjeeling (4 to 5 hours)
Darjeeling has reigned supreme as "Queen of Hill Stations" for over a century, facing the towering Himalayas and surrounded by high green hills covered with coniferous forests and tea plantations.

Day 4 : DARJEELING
Early Morn visit Tiger Hill (11 Kms) Before sunrise leave for Tiger Hill (8500 ft) to view spectacular Sunrise over Kanchenjunga Himalayas. On a clear day no where else can one experience a Himalayan panorama as dramatic as that from Tiger Hill.
After Breakfast visit GHOOM MONASTERY (7410 ft. If the Toy Train is running in the morning we can go upto Ghoom and return by our vehicles). The Yiga Cholang Monastery at Ghoom, built in 1875, belongs to the yellow sect of Buddhists who worship the 15 feet high statue of the Maitreya Buddha installed here. The monastery also houses a library with some valuable manuscripts which include the 108 volume Tibetan gospel, Kangyur.
In the afternoon visit the world-famous Himalayan Mountaineering Institute and Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park, Tibetan Self-help Centre, Lloyd Botanical Gardens, a tea garden and Lebong Race Course.

Day 5 : DARJEELING - PEMAYANGTSE
After breakfast drive from Darjeeling to Pemayangtse (4 hours).
Arrive & check in at hotel.

Day 6 : PEMAYANGTSE - GANGTOK
After breakfast drive from Pemayangtse to Gangtok (5 hours).
Gangtok is the capital of Sikkim, an independent Himalayan Kingdom until 1975 when it became the 22nd Indian State. A garden state that lies at the foot of the Kanchenjunga range.
The town is famous for its flowers, and over 400 species of orchids. The best time for flowers is April to June and October to early December.

Day 7 : GANGTOK
After breakfast leave for Rumtek which takes 45mins drive. On the way back visit the Institute of Tibitiology which has the huge collection of manuscripts of Tibetian literature.
In the afternoon visit to Enchay monastery, handicraft centre, Orchid flower show and the local market.

Day 8 : GANGTOK - KALIMPONG
After breakfast drive from Gangtok to Kalimpong (3 hours).
Kalimpong is a remote hill station, which has been on the trade route to Tibet, Nepal and Bhutan. The gentle climate with warm summers and cool winters, the beautiful mountain scenery and the abundance of flowers has made Kalimpong an attractive resort.

Day 9 : KALIMPONG
After Breakfast leave from hotel to see the magnificent towering monastery of Durpin which has a commanding view of Kalimpong town and the surrounding regions.

Day 10 : KALIMPONG – BAGDOGRA – KOLKATA
Drive from Kalimpong to Bagdogra airport (3 to 4 Hours)
Depart by flight (Jet Airways) to Delhi
Arrive Kolkata – meet & transfer to hotel
Overnight : Hotel in Kolkata
Day 11 : DEPARTURE KOLKATA
Transfer to International Airport for flight back home.
