Delhi - Khimsar - Chtrasagar - Sardargarh - Udaipur - Jaipur - Agra
Day 1 : ARRIVE DELHI
Arrive Delhi by International flight - meet & transfer to hotel.
Overnight : Hotel in Delhi
Day 2 : DELHI - JODHPUR - KHIMSAR DUNES
After breakfast transfer to airport.
1205 hrs : Depart by 9W-3311 (Jet Airways) to Jodhpur.
1325 hrs : Arrive and proceed for sightseeing tour of Jodhpur city.
Visit Mehrangarh Fort, the biggest and most impregnable in fort-studded Rajasthan. An excellent place to sketch and paint - the blue city of Jodhpur that lies spread out below or the fort perched on a rock.
Thereafter proceed by road to Khimsar Dunes Village. ( 2 hrs)

Day 3 : KHIMSAR DUNES VILLAGE
Located 6 kms from Khimsar Fort this village lies in the heart of the seven dunes of 'Akla' measuring 8 kms in circumference. A water body in the centre makes it a perfect 60 acre oasis of peace. The village is surrounded by sand dunes in all directions. It is accessible by jeep, camel & horse. The cluster of huts resemble the local village hutments known as "dhanis". Each hut has a 17 ft thatched grass dome. The huts have independent courtyards which provide perfect privacy. The rooms are overlooking the water body with the sand dunes as a backdrop. They enjoy the complete silence & tranquility of the the Thar desert!

Day 4 : KHIMSAR - CHHATRASAGAR
After early breakfast drive to Chhatrasagar (3 hours) passing through nomadic villages enroute.
Arrive for lunch at Chatrasagar, a deluxe camp on the banks of huge man made reservoir where pelicans lazily float.
Excellent walks around to take in bird watching. This is the highlight of any tour to Rajasthan

Day 5 : CHHATRASAGAR
Excellent walks around to take in bird watching and village life.

Day 6 : CHHATRASAGAR - SARDARGARH FORT (6 hrs)
After breakfast drive through interesting countryside to a village with an amazing fortress of Sardar Garh run by the local royal couple of Mahipal & Dhaitri, this ancient fort and one of the biggest palace hotel will leave you spellbound with the personalized luxury offered by the family.

Day 7 : SARDARGARH FORT - UDAIPUR
After breakfast drive to Udaipur (3 hrs) enroute stopping at the ancient Jain temples of Ranakpur.
Therafter continue on drive to Udaipur.
Udaipur is the city of lakes and gardens. The town is best known for the marble palace built on a rock in the middle of the lake - one of the most glamorous and photographed hotels in the world.

Day 8 : UDAIPUR
After breakfast City tour of Udaipur - the romantic Lake City in Southern Rajasthan, famous for the stunning white marble Palace built on an island in the Lake Pichola. It was the former Palace of the Maharana and now converted to one of the most glamorous hotels in India. The tour will cover the magnificent City Palace, the Jagdish temple, the pleasure gardens and a drive around the other nearby lakes.

Day 9 : UDAIPUR - JAIPUR
After an early Breakfast departure transfer to airport.
0740 hrs : Depart by 9W-373 (Jet Airways) to Jaipur
0825 hrs : Arrive and transfer to Hotel.
Jaipur is the state capital of Rajasthan and owes its name, planning and foundation to the Maharaja Jai Singh II. In 1727, Jai Singh decided to move from his hillside fortress at Amber to the plains, and thus Jaipur was conceived. It is also know as the "Pink City", derived from the pink painted sandstone from which the buildings in the old walled city are constructed.

Day 10 : JAIPUR
After breakfast visit Amber Fort - the imposing Amber fort on the outskirts of the Pink City. Ascend the Fortress Palace & visit the exquisite palaces, the hall of mirrors & the majestic ramparts of this ancient capital of the Rajput Empire.
In the afternoon tour of Pink City visit the imposing City Palace now a museum, the ancient Observatory, the exotic palace of Winds and the picturesque bazaars of the walled city.

Day 11 : JAIPUR - AGRA
After breakfast drive to Agra enroute visit Fatehpur Sikri now deserted city but which during its brief span exceeded London in both grandeur & population.
Thereafter continue drive to Agra (245 Kms)
In the afternoon visit the Red Fort built by three generations of Mughal emperors, between 1565 and 1573. It housed both the residential palaces of the Royal family and the military quarters.
In the evening visit the world-famous Taj Mahal Literally "Crown of Palaces" which was built by Shah Jehan to immortalize the memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal who died tragically in 1631

Day 12 : AGRA - DELHI
After early breakfast, re-visit Taj Mahal at Sunrise.
Thereafter drive back to Delhi. (5 hours)

Day 13 : DEPARTURE DELHI
After breakfast full day city tour of Delhi.
Start the tour from OLD DELHI - visit the Raj Ghat, Red Fort, and the Jama Masjid. At the Chandni Chowk board cycle rickshaws and see the sights & sounds of this busy street with its quaint shops & ancient gateways.
Thereafter visit NEW DELHI - drive past the Stately government buildings of the British Era designed by Lutyen’s, including the Indian Gate & the Presidential Palace. Continue onto the beautiful Humayun’s tomb of the Mughal era & thereafter visit the towering minaret of Qutab Minar.
Late Evening transfer to international airport for flight back home.
